Blackville Music & Arts Committee:

 A group of individuals organized and developed The Blackville Music and Art Festival Committee, non-profit group that organizes the festival and the events. The purpose of this event is to bring the community together, create growth as well as revenue & awareness for the town of Blackville, to raise funds for the music and art program in our public schools system, and create a music and art scholarship that would assist in sending an aspiring youth to college in hopes of pursuing their dreams in music or art.

Blackville Downtown Development Association:

Mission Statement: 

The mission of the Blackville Downtown Development Association is to communicate with community leaders, citizens, as well as the business sector to provide economic growth for our community, promote beautification focusing on the heritage of Blackville, and quality of life.

Vision Statement:

The vision of the Blackville Downtown Development Association is to become a transformation that will profoundly impact the living and working environment of the citizens of the Blackville Community. We will promote efforts to ensure that Blackville retains its historical significance, cultural diversity, economic stability and aesthetic qualities.

In Keeping with our mission and vision statements, we work collaboratively with other organizations. The Blackville Garden Club, Blackville Civic Club, The Art of Community: Rural, SC, and The Blackville Music and Arts Festival to elevate and enhance the aesthetics of the downtown area and our local community.
